At a time when most Americans are struggling to make ends meet, let alone save for the future, alternative structures are needed for supporting retirement savings. Automatic IRAs could provide Illinois residents with a financially secure retirement. This session from our 2012 Conference presents research data on Illinois retirement savings disparities, and introduce the concept of Automatic IRAs and their potential to secure retirement savings in Illinois.
